I did quite a bit of holiday shopping today, and I was refusing to buy anything for myself. Well, I caved and got two little treats. Please take a gander and share in my excitement.

Feast thine eyes upon my new Red Mega Shoes! They’re almost four inches tall, making me of average height. They’re delicious red leather platform pumps that will go perfectly with black tights for my Christmas-inspired outfits. Not only are they ridiculously sexy AND comfortable, but Jessica Simpson didn’t take me to the cleaners for them! I got these puppies for a mere $59.99 and tax. Glorious!

Look at this. Just take a look at this thing. That is a true-blue Russian matryoshka salt shaker. But where is pepper? I don’t know, and I’m sure she misses her mate. However, I’m excited about it because she cost me a mere fifty cents at Discovery Thrift Store.

PEOPLE! I got this in the mail today, and I almost cried. Honestly. It’s a lion knob from Anthropologie that I have been lusting over for months. The beautiful and wonderful Jada of HipIncognito fame sent me this as a holiday treat, and it’s the most thoughtful and unexpected thing ever. I am overly emotional about nice gestures, Jada; you can’t do things like this because I will forever be humbled and in your debt. And that may be annoying for you. BUT YOU GUYS! It looks so amazing on my crusty ol’ antique bedside table. I can’t explain it, but you blog writers are closer to my heart than many people IRL. Everybody love on Jada, please. Yeeaaa!
