Cat Scratch Fevuhhh

I tend to predict how my day will go based on the radio. If I’m heading into work, and both of my favorite stations just have commercials on, I’m looking at the world’s worst day. If they are both playing songs that I have no partiality towards, it will be a slightly disappointing day. However, if I don’t even have to change the station after I start the car because the song is so rockin’, it’s GOOD DAY, SUNSHINE!

Today was a Good-Day-Sunshine type of day. Not one, not two, not even three — but FOUR jammin’ songs in a row with no commercial interruptions. It started off with some “Dirty Deeds” by AC/DC, took a turn for euphoria with “Proud Mary” by CCR, got a little nasty with “Cat Scratch Fever” by The Nuge, and ended uncharacteristically with “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega & DNA.

It was a darn shame to arrive at my destination.
