Last night, someone (who, without a doubt, reads my blog with contempt) was commenting to me about why he doesn’t like most of my posts. He was saying that too much of my writing isn’t real; it’s just a real thought revised and combed through so carefully that it’s completely calculated. 

Whereas his entire analysis isn’t correct, he made an excellent point. Of course my posts are revised! The point of the more serious writings on this website is to attest to the revision of my LIFE.

I go out, I live my life, I make mistakes, I come back, and I see how I can make it better.

The concept of my writing process mirroring my living process is actually really interesting to me, and I may not have realized it had I not been getting critiqued. It’s our nature — to learn and grow and evolve.
