I was born in Alabama, and I’m marrying a Pennsylvanian. This is basically whatever, but it does bring up some interesting options when you’re wedding planning. For instance, they don’t have groom’s cakes up north. Most of the differences aren’t a big deal — mostly because nobody’s mad at more cake — but there was one item of debate that struck a nerve.Me: Okay, so, in the south, we don’t do receiving lines at receptions.
