Being engaged to and living with someone who values their health above all else is great. You get motivated to live better, and that has beneficial results.
HOWEVER, when grains are removed from your diet because of this, things get dark.
I bought some delicious dark wheat, nine grain bread from the Publix bakery yesterday so I could make sandwiches for a triathlon club meeting we’re hosting. …then Eric Clapton’s “Cocaine” came on the radio.
And I looked at my life and realized that I’m probably the star of something similar to The Truman Show, and this was the soundtrack to the low moment of relapse into my bread addiction.
