Sometimes, I wish I could just platonically marry my friends. They really are the cutest people in the entire world. I hope that everyone sees them as I do: countless admirable and adorable qualities stacked upon more countless admirable and adorable qualities. 

There’s Maria who has been telling me that she “has to finish [her] novel” since she was about eight. Allyson scrunches up her nose whenever she’s criticizing something in her Southern accent. Ashley can’t help but make ridiculous faces in photos that never fail to make me laugh. Kendra has the ability to tell the most intriguing, witty, rambling stories while simultaneously bouncing off the walls. I really do just love these people more than I can express.

I often wondered throughout my life if I have any minute details that people cherish. I’m going to make a habit of pointing these characteristics out to my loved ones. I suggest you do the same; general compliments are nice, but one on a trait that’s uniquely and distinctly them would score you some extra Brownie points.
