Trick-or-treat?! Trick, America, TRICK. Rob “Vanilla Ice” Van Winkle was born on Halloween 1967.

Either way, our favorite white rapper of the 1990s burst from his mother’s loins festively in Dallas, Texas on All Hallows’ Eve. He went on to win all hearts (except Queen’s and David Bowie’s) with “Ice Ice Baby,” which caused us to not only to stop, but also to collaborate and listen.

Sure, we poke fun of him for some of his style and dance choices of 1991…but Ol’ Rob did manage to get a good gig or two; ever heard of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze? Yeah, he played himself in that. Then, there was…um…well…OH! He was on VH1’s “The Surreal Life.” Hm. That about does it, I guess.
