Gratuitous Picture of Yourself Wednesday: The Past Becomes Future Edition

What, you ask? Well, see that eighteen year-old gal working hard in her high school’s art room? That was me, and that activity will now be repeated every week.

Yes, I just got a sweet gig at my old high school as the art teacher’s aide for three periods per week. I will get to assist in teaching, monitoring, and planning the following:

Second Period - Mixed Media (sophomores, juniors, and seniors)
Third Period - General Art (seventh graders)
Fourth Period - Advanced Placement Art (seniors)

Brings back memories…

I’m pretty thrilled to work with this lovely lady on a peer level; Ms. Day was always a teacher I admired and enjoyed. The above photo was from my very own AP Art show in 2005.

But yiiiiiikes. I’ve also got my full-time, 6 days per week marketing and assisting job. Let’s not forget the work I’m doing on costume embellishment for Jitterbug Theatre’s production of Mulan, Jr. Then — lordy, lordy — I have to complete a fashion website I’m building for a friend. I’m going to go insane. Absolutely, without a doubt, insane.
