Swooning Pretty Hard…Again
I’ve been spending a lot of time with my first love during the past couple of days. It has really reminded me of why I fell for him in the first place. He’s devoted, loyal, kind, gorgeous, and sensitive. Why did I ever abandon him?
Don’t worry, Rob; my first big love was Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Played by David Boreanaz, the Irish vampire had me head over heels at age ten. The kicker was that he gave his beloved slayer a claddagh — the ring for which I pined. He was so perfect (well, until he lost his soul again during his first moment of pure joy). It was such a shame to realize he wasn’t real.
