Gratuitous Picture of Yourself Wednesday: Terrible Style Edition

This is what I was wearing exactly five years ago on July 22, 2004. I was not quite a senior in high school yet, and I was participating in a summer program at the Savannah College of Art & Design — the college I would attend in ‘05.

I am showing off my temporary dorm in Oglethorpe House while sporting a hideous mix of green and black. Black fitted tee, awkwardly short green skirt, and a tacky green polka-dotted headband to match! What you can’t see is that I’m also wearing black and white Puma Californias with pink strawberry shoelaces. I can’t even begin to explain the thick hemp necklace and the rainbow shaggy purse.

Oh, to be a kid again!
