Some people think it’s all or nothing with relationships. That, my friends, is impossible. There is no way you can like every single attribute your loved one has. Things do not have to be perfect, and there is an easy explanation.

There is a mantra that goes “take what you like; leave the rest.” 

Simple, right? Enjoy all the things you love about someone, and cherish the person. The traits you’re not crazy about…don’t worry about them. Don’t stress out over them. Don’t become angry over them. Don’t try to change them. Just accept them and move on. Get a sense of humor about it.

If it’s a trait with which you CANNOT be happy, then you will know in your heart what to do.

You can love someone, warts and all. It’s just not mandatory to love every wart.
