“Some things are not meant for my blog…”
When dealing with frustrations, it’s best not to perpetuate them. If you feel that talking about serious and personal issues on a blog is inappropriate, then taking high road would not involve making a less-than-subtle statement on your own blog.
Also, it’s Psychology 101 that You Statements are intended to hurt. It’s placing blame, and trying to convince that the opinions expressed are facts. Personally, I don’t think my “words are vomit.” I think they are well-thought out and planned so that they don’t place blame.
I don’t use You Statements, and I always try to remind that there are two sides to every story. I even empathize with the other party on a regular basis. In fact, many things I wrote were redacted in order to alleviate discomfort.
And I especially don’t say mean things about your family; yes, I can read through scribbles.
Does anyone think my writing is meant to hurt? I thought it was meant for me to heal.
