This, my friends, is Kava. Her name is Czech for coffee…and this girl is a dark roast! I got her this morning at an adoption fair in Mobile hosted by ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation).

She was dropped off a few weeks ago with her two sisters. Her mom had been euthanized after giving birth. I’m so excited about her! She is calm and skeptical, but still so bubbly and kind. She is definitely a cuddle pup. She LOVES to be held like a baby. Another plus is that it’s really easy to tell when she has to go to the bathroom. No accidents yet! High five!



She’s about eight weeks old, so she is a Aries. We’ll get along swimmingly. Look at her hiding in that…grass/bush! She also enjoyed chewing on that tree next to her. By the way, she came with that ribbon. It was a sign! First of all, we used to make Zoë wear all my old ribbons on her collar. Secondly, purple is my favorite color, so it was meant to be.



She’s going to be so much fun!
