I saw this today on Melissa’s blog (withoutmelissa), and it made me smile. When I was growing up, my mom used to always ask me right before bed, “What was your favorite thing about today?” I loved this because I would relive all the fun things that happened that day until I decided which was best.I try to hand that wonderful tradition down to Kyle, however reluctant he may be to participate. We do play differently, however. Instead of naming our favorite event of the day, we write our favorite thing about each other du jour. We have a designated notebook that we bring out at the end of every night and write down our item. Some excerpts from March:03.06.09: “You knew The Byrds’ song and wished it were called ‘Bride.’”  - Kyle03.16.09: “I liked that we drove all the way to 181 & 104 just to play quarters for three minutes at the gas station.”  - Alexi03.15.09: “I liked that you and your family came to eat, and you gave me a fake tip.” - Kyle03.21.09: “I liked that you faked pain when I was cleaning your foot wound; you screamed before I even touched you.” - Alexi
